The Secret Of Wealth Creation

We all dream of winning the lottery, inheriting a vast fortune, or suddenly becoming wealthy by some other means, but not many of us deliberately set out to amass great wealth. In fact, beyond the vague aspirations mentioned, I would wager that most people are far too busy earning a living to give it any serious thought.

I am told that the ‘secret’ of creating monetary wealth is to add value to other people’s lives. What that value is can take many forms. It could be a product such as a washing machine, CD or book, or it could be a service, for example web design, accounting, or copywriting. Now to create great wealth we need to add a lot of value to a lot of people’s lives. The more unique the product or service is then the more value it will hold, and the more people who are enriched by the product or service, the more wealth that is created. This can be summed up as…

Simple eh? And the great thing about the World Wide Web is that we have access to millions of users, so we don’t need to go far to find a lot of people. So far so good.

Armed with this knowledge it would seem to be quite a straightforward exercise. Simply decide on a product or service (remembering that the more unique it is the more value it will hold), and then use the power of the World Wide Web to offer that value to lots of people - wealth will surely then follow by the truck load!

Or at least, that is the theory.....
