How To Avoid Crippling Energy Price Rises

If you live in the UK then you will be aware that British Gas are raising prices for the third time in a year. This further 12% price hike due in September means that British Gas prices will have increased by 50% in the past twelve months, and the company are charging the average household up to £170 more annually than their competitors for the same service. It doesn't need to be spelled out that price increases like this could mean catastrophe for household budgets; even the government are urging consumers to switch providers!

Ok, so it's obvious; in order to avoid the 12% price hike being introduced later this year then British Gas customers will need to switch energy providers. But which one to choose, and can you be bothered with the hassle? The good news is that I have found a fantastic web based service that compares energy providers and makes the whole process simple.

EnergyHelpline help customers save money on their gas & electricity, home phone and heating insurance through a price comparison service. The service is only available for UK residents and it is a simple matter of answering a couple of questions via an online form to find the right service. You can then sign up by filling in a few simple details and the rest of the admin is taken care of by them.

The service is free of charge, impartial and independent and is certified by Energywatch the regulatory body. So what are you waiting for? Switch to a cheaper supplier with Energyhelpline.com

Get Rich Click

“Get Rich Click” is a great phrase isn’t it? It is obviously a pun on get rich quick and usually refers to the activities of young Internet entrepreneurs who are making a fortune online; often to the bewilderment of older more traditional business people. Another description coined is “Entreprenerd” a derivative of entrepreneur and nerd; which again has been coined by a generation that can’t quite get their heads round the idea of young people generating massive income seemingly overnight from the World Wide Web.

Naturally, when these more traditional business minds become aware of just how much money is being made by some of the get rich click successes, then it becomes a ‘serious’ business venture and not just kids mucking about online for pocket money. Once that happens, the competition hots up as lots of people jump on the bandwagon and it gets increasingly more difficult to make the huge profits enjoyed by some.

Take Google’s Adsense programme as an example: Pretty much all that needs to be done to earn money with the contextually generated ads is to find some high paying keywords and then deliberately create or amend a website to rank well for those keywords. Obviously there is work to be done and
techniques to be learned, but the process is so simple that it is almost child’s play. Consequently it now seems like everybody wants to join in and there is so much competition out there that it can be really difficult to find a new Adsense niche to exploit.

So if you really want to make a lot of money online, then maybe you should ignore what has gone before and instead be looking to blaze a trail with your own Get Rich Click scheme?

Get rich with a FREE copy of Stealth Income Secrets!

What does it mean to be ‘rich’, and how do you know if you are? Is being ‘rich’ measured by the amount of money you have? Maybe for some, but I don’t think so… For me, it is more about freedom – being where I want to be and doing exactly what I want to be doing at a particular moment.

And so it was yesterday when my wife and I decided to have a day off and visit one of our favourite places, Llangollen in North Wales. The weather was glorious and the views absolutely spectacular as we drove through the Horseshoe Pass and down the winding mountain road toward the beautiful little village on the banks of the Dee – I don’t care what anybody says; all of the money in the world could not have improved this experience, and I felt truly ‘rich’ indeed to be able to enjoy the privilege.

Perhaps it is middle age catching up with me, because I know it wouldn’t have had the same effect when I was twenty and taking so much of life for granted. But now I realise that simply noticing the enormous diversity of experiences that life has to offer, combined with the freedom and health to enjoy them, are the true ‘riches’ we should be seeking. It is so easy to get bogged down with the process of earning a living and striving to improve our lot that maybe sometimes we should just take some time out and be grateful for what we already have…

Anyway, that’s enough of my amateur philosophy for today. Lastly, I am offering 5 free copies of Stealth Income Secrets ($37.00 value) to the first 5 people who can correctly identify the famous 1960’s movie that inspired the rather swanky photo above of me taken on the Horse Shoe Pass yesterday.
